Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from blogs and the press. Half the World Away - by Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two covers worth noting that she has recorded. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. It earned her some recognition. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard in her loft, and becoming fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to make music as a means of personal growth, rather than for the purpose of making money or to pursue as a hobby. She began writing songs of her own. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen and Bjork for being among her inspirations. Her mother had informed her that her music could not only help her gain fame, and also inspire others to see their value within the global community and see what can be done with the songs She decided to start performing publicly. She started playing piano when she was six years old and began writing music by the time she was nine. Her family didn't be aware of this until she was 14. Aurora never dreamed of becoming a star. Her only passion is writing music. According to her, she believes music can make people feel more relaxed.
